The brighter I

This post is regarding how brigter I am becoming day by day.
I gave it a thought as to what would be the reason(s) for that.

1. Would it be because of the way I have learnt things?
I have learnt everything the harder way in school. Once I was beaten on finding that my

teacher was wearing the same saree as my mother's. YOu know what would happen if a 4 yr old finds

someone is having something which belongs to him.

2. Is it because I don't know Hindi?
Just beacause Laloo speaks hindi, doesn't means that I shouldn't be dumb if I don't know

hindi.

3. Is it because I don't have a girlfriend?
Maybe, that could be a plausible reason. I never wait in the bus stop when noone except a

rabid dog is there with me. I never come till tambaram just to give company to a girl even on

days I don't have college. But let me explore other possibilities.

4. Is it because I have been drinking bournvita for the past 17 years?
No, not at all. I am becoming brighter off late.

5. Is it because I watch a lot of vijaykanth movies?
Vijaykanth movies nuture creativity. They bring out the comical person in you even if you are
of serious thinker sorts. You will learn to tame a lion, walk on a rope etc even if you watch

his movie. You will even get MADRAS EYE if you see his eyes for 2 minutes.

6. Is it because I read a lot?
Last page of INDIA TODAY, the middle page of KUNGUMAM, KUMUDHAM, AANANDHA VIKATAN etc will

not be taken into account as there is nothing to read in those pages.

7. Is it because I am into ORKUT for the past five years?
Orkut Boyukuttan himself came up with the idea only before less than five years

So, what may be the reason?

It is because the number of bulbs I have been getting off late.

You will go to a teashop very near to the theatre if you have the habit of having a tea when your headache. God!!! I can’t bear the songs except two and that too in tamil.

You will go to a barber even if you have had a haircut recently because, you will find that you will be in a situation to answer with proof, when you are asked the question, “enna m_y_r_ pudingina?” So you need to adjust your looks.

You will go to a medical shop to get a good tablet to relieve yourself from headache if the tea isn’t sufficient.

The storyline was good. A perfect narration was made about gurubhai’s life. The music was pathetic in tamil. But there were certain flaws without which any movie isn’t complete.

This was actually a very mediocre performance by a director of manirathnam’s stature. I would rate this movie a 7 pointer on a scale of 10.

The climax was a big spoiler for the movie. It was more emotional than practical on Guru’s part to convince a jury.

I wonder if there were anyone as a part of the jury taking photographs when Guru faces it. You could see a flash in Guru’s glasses.

I am very happy for TN government to be very ambitious to increase the PTC fleet and thereby enabling it to start a new route till MUMBAI.

Mithun Chakraborthy, Vidhya Balan, Madhavan have done well.

Abishek needs tons of applause especially for his walking style.

Aishwarya Rai should sit at home hereafter.

This post is the reason why my profile in orkut featured the POKIRI pic.
This post is the result or should I say outburst after a wastage of 60 bucks.
The film has nothing new except for the posh interiors of the villian's place. But even I could spot a few resemblence with the sets in DON. The story has usual elements of songs and fight sequences, beyond which there is nothing to expect in any film. So, where does the film scores less? And how would your 60 rupees get distributed in wastage.

It scores less even from the posters. DO you argue, it must be the mistake of the theatre?
Its te mistake of the censor board. The certificate given is U/A. But the film should have been given A. The gunshots keep donging your ears for a long time even after the end of the movie. Whats the use of giving a U/A certificate when you don't know when to take your child out? funny ppl...

The next area where the movie scores less is the choice of the heroine. When the director needs a glamour element, it should be a choice amon Mumtaz to Namitha and not Asin. Someone like Asin cannot be accepted when she tries to be glamourous.

Vadivelu's perfomance was abysmal. I think he is taking over advantage of his fan following these days, or else he would have done with decent comedy sense. The ugly looking policeman(one of the villians) is infact tolerable than vadivelu.

Romance is another area where some 20 rupees of mine was lost.I was infact at the edge of my seat when romance was on screen because it needed a lot of concentration to sense it was romantic.

I wasted another 25 rupees of mine in the last half an hour. I think I lost it when the greatest suspense of the movie was believed to be unfolded by the director and others at some point in that time. Actually the way it was unfolded needs a great applause.

"VAT is being implemented from today... dr...dr..". Off goes the signal. I look at what has happened with a mad man's looks. Then there is a resumption. This puts me into a better feeling. So, why should I go mad when the signal was out? It's because I have kept my spectacles on the table. Then, there was this small device in my pocket ringing once in a while, disturbing the concentration. Actually I was sleeping even with the rumbling of another small device near my ears. So do you ask," How can you listen to a radio when you sleep?". Thats because, there was some other person who was listening to it.
Where in the world people concentrate while sleeping?- is this your question?
The other person was concentrating.
Then what is the need for you to turn mad when the signal went off?
Because, the radio was on the table along with my spectacles. I cannot return home or even recognise my own mother, even from close proximity without spectacles.
SO, that was my primal fear.
"As far as I know, radio waves never affect glass?", I know you would have this in mind.. Then why the hell am I afraid?
The other person had actually put down my spectacles while adjusting the radio before. So, I feared if anything would happen now.
"didn't you get a proper sleep at home?"
Actually I go there to sleep, while the other person is concentrating on something other than the radio.."

He earns his living that shop.

why did that so called small device ring occasionaly?
because, "VAT was implemented on that day.."

Then why did you get that many calls?
Becuase, VAT is into effect from Jan 1 of this year, the day when I was in a barber shop as early as 5.45AM to have my hair cut.
