define

This post was sent as an entry for my college's magazine. I have not been in the best of moods recently to post anything. Those of you who have seen the previous post's date, are new to blogging I guess. So here it goes.

I believe many would have heard about the define initiative by google.

If you enter “define: xxxxxx” you will get the definition for the entered text which is sourced out from various other websites. It can also be used as a dictionary. Below, we will see how google defines some words and how would some other imaginary websites have defined them.

I leave certain obvious things without mentioning.

Define: commuter

Commuting is the process of traveling between a place of residence and a place of work. Students who are enrolled at a college or university but who live off-campus are also typically referred to as commuters.
